Arete Herbalism-Medicine Maker's Retreat

Begin your journey into the world of medicinal plants in the company of like-minded folks. The Arete Herbalism Programme offers four sessions a year. At each session there will be herb gathering. medicine making, plant identification and use, yoga, meditation, a discussion on the Bhagavad-Gita and it's application in our every day lives, seva (selfless service), sanga and kirtan.

Surrounded by verdant valley beauty, nurtured by Nature, each session includes a delicious and healthy vegan lunch, access to an extensive library of botanical literature, and the freedom for independent observation of plants and birds, or a chance to hug trees and lie in the grass.
